....I can finally relax.

Kaity had so much fun. This was the first Christmas for her (even though it's her third) that she was finally getting into it. EVERY present that she got she would exclaim "Is this for me? Oh Thank You!" I LOVED it! She was so polite about it and thanked everyone immensely. I LOVE how polite of a little girl that I have. She says please, thank you AND your welcome!!! We went to Laura's house for Christmas and to Kaity's grandparents house the same day and then we went to my Aunt's house the next day. She had so much fun. Next year I will have to put up a tree since I got ridiculed for not putting one up this year, even though I explained I knew that she would be getting into it, so therefore I didn't. We had fun and I was glad to spend time with my in laws (but not Sheila my sister-in-law "the bitch"). Not getting into it but other than that I had a great time this Christmas. It's been a long time since I have been able to say that.

Brian and I finally decided to get a BowFlex. I want to start working out at home since I will be in school full time starting in six days. That is Brian and my Christmas gift to each other....even though I bought a ring and necklace for myself and a WHOLE bunch of toys for Kaity :) !!!

I am so nervous about starting school and I cannot wait to start. I assume that I will be getting my uniform on Monday (so I will have to post a pic of myself in it) along with the rest of my books. I just want to make my Brian proud of me.

We finally found Kaity a new sitter and she is wonderful....a SAHM with kids that she watches that are Kaitys' age and she teaches and has a large yard to play in and everything.

I went and got the second of my Hep A&B shot series done today and now my arm is SO SORE. The nurse who works at my doctors office hasn't seen Kaity in over two and a half years and couldn't believe that Kaity has gotten that old and big now. Kathy was walking her around and showing her to everyone there including Dr. Marum. None of them hadn't seen her since we had to switch doctors and go to Duke because of Kaity's condition. I wanted Dr. Bergdolt to see her but she has recently left to start her own practice. I absolutely love my Doctor and Kathy.



So here I am, less than a month away...waiting for the nursing part of my education to start. Sometimes it is still a shock to me that one day I will be a nurse.

Wow, even to type that out is awesome. I love the idea of having the ability to be able to go to school to become just that.....a nurse. I want a career that will show my daughter, that even though I push education, it is important to go to school in order to make sosmething of yourself. I just don't want her growing up working at some dead-end minimum wage job that will leave her dependent on someone else to help her in life....

.....and all I can say is that I will NEVER go back to that school after I get my RN degree. I will most certainly be going elsewhere. I was truly disappointed with their program.

So I officially start Watts on January 5th and the first semester will run until May 22nd. I can't not wait but it will most certainly be nice having one month off while waiting to start. I plan on spending all my time with my little Kaity monkey before I start school. So I plan on taking her to the park everyday or going for walks or whatever while Brian is at work.

But for now.....YIPPEE!!!! One school done, one more to go before I am done!!!

So nothing new is going on in my life. Well except for the fact that I am one more class night away from finishing my degree and one month away from officially starting nursing school. I had Kaitys' Christmas pictures done (technically yesterday) at a new photographer and I have to say that I will never go anywhere else ever AGAIN!!! Carrie was AMAZING and she captured Kaity so beautifully in the pictures that she took!!! Here are some of her pictures....
